Houston Astros Rebrand Concept
The entrance of a new owner and a switch from the National League to the American League gave the Houston Astros a perfect opportunity for a rebrand. Their current branding as of 2012 was a departure from the modern, far reaching identity that the franchise is known for. These innovations include their use of the first domed stadium and introduction of artificial turf as well as their rainbow uniforms of the 1970's. The new brand aims at creating a modern look that still pays homage to its roots.
